Man charged with 11 counts of burglary including Knebworth Royal British Legion base

A man has been charged with 11 counts of burglary after rugby clubs and social buildings were broken into and thousands of pounds were stolen.
Luke Giugno, 27, of Farley Hill Road, Luton, has been charged with the following burglaries:
The Royal British Legion building in Gun Lane, Knebworth, on April 5
Crawley Green Social Club, Crawley Green, on March 18
Luton Rugby Club, Luton, between March 12 and 16
Old Albanians Sports Club, St Albans, on March 14
Ampthill Rugby Club, Ampthill, between March 12 and 16
Bedford Athletic Rugby Club, Bedford, on March 10.
Wellingborough Rugby Club, Wellingborough, on March 9
Wing Village Social Club, Wing, on March 9
Tring Rugby Club, Tring, between March 7 and 10.
Hemel Hempstead Rugby Club, Hemel Hempstead, between March 7 and March 10.
Harpenden Rugby Club, Harpenden, between March 6 and 9.
During each break-in cash was stolen from inside the premises.
Giugno is also charged with possession of a small quantity of cannabis at Luton on April 15.
He appeared at Hatfield Remand Court on April 16 where he was remanded in custody and is due to appear at St Albans Crown Court on May 16.
