A man was cautioned after stealing from the Oxfam shop in Welwyn Garden City

A man was cautioned by police after shoplifting in Welwyn Garden City.

The offender, a 25-year-old man from London, entered the Oxfam shop in Fretherne Road between 4.10pm and 4.25pm on Friday, March 11.

He placed several DVDs into a carrier bag and then left without paying.

Police detained him shortly afterwards and gave him a caution.
