A MAN suffered serious facial injuries after an assault in WGC town centre.
The 19-year-old, from St Albans, was punched in the head and kicked by his assailant, who approached him from behind near HSBC in Howardsgate.
He required hospital treatment following the attack, which took place at around 1.30am on Sunday, June 27.
