Taxi driver attacked in Hatfield assault


A man has been arrested after a taxi driver was assaulted mid-journey in Hatfield.

The attack took place at 2am in Great North Road on March 6 at 2am during a journey to Stevenage.

A 30-year-old man from Stevenage was arrested at 4.35pm on March 21 at an address in the town, on suspicion of assault, ABH, and criminal damage.

He has been released on police bail to return on April 19.
