Man and young daughter racially attacked in Hatfield
Police are encouraging witnesses of a racially aggravated offence that happened in Hatfield to come forward.
At around 6pm on Thursday, May 4 the victim, a 30-year-old man, was walking through the underpass beneath the A1001 Roehyde Way with his young daughter when he was approached by a woman who made offensive comments.
A police spokesperson said: “The offender is described as a white woman, aged 50 to 60 years old, around 5ft 6in tall and of slim build.
“She had short shaved blonde hair and was wearing a black tracksuit.
“She was walking with two border collie-type dogs at the time of the offence.
“Anyone who saw the incident or knows who may be responsible is asked to contact Hertfordshire Constabulary via the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference B2/17/2213.
