Anthony Samuel Sullivan has admitted attempted child abduction


A MAN from Welwyn Garden City has pleaded guilty to attempting to abduct a 12-year-old girl.

Anthony Samuel Sullivan, of Athelstan Walk North, pleaded guilty to attempted child abduction and possession of a knife.

Police were called after Sullivan. 29, reportedly grabbed the girl’s arm on Thursday, June 20 in Raymonds Plain.

The abduction attempt happened in broad daylight, at around 3.45pm.

He was also found to be carrying a knife.

Sullivan appeared in court via video link on Monday to make his plea, and is now awaiting sentencing.
