Police are investigating the death of Milton Papadopoulos

Detectives from a police major crime units are investigating the sudden death of a man in Potters Bar, it has been confirmed.

Today (Thursday) Herts Constabulary said officers have still not established a definitive cause of death for Milton Papadopoulos, more than a week after his death.

Mr Papadopoulos, described by his family as “highly respected and loved by everyone who knew him”, died on Wednesday last week at his home in Parkfield View.

A police spokesman said: “The sudden death of 41 year old Milton Papadopoulos is still being treated as unexplained at this time.

“We have been faced with a complicated scene where there isn’t currently evidence to support a definitive cause of death.

“This will also be dependent on pathological testing.

“As this is the case we have put a team of Major Crime Unit detectives in place, as they have the expertise needed to thoroughly investigate a number of lines of inquiry, with the aim of establishing the exact circumstances surrounding Milton’s death.

“As part of this investigation, we will be exploring further forensic opportunities at the house where Milton was found and speaking with his friends and family.”
