Hertfordshire M25 crash causes long delays

A crash on the M25 is causing long tailbacks affecting traffic for St Albans, London Colney, Hatfield, South Mimms and Potters Bar.

A collision between two vehicles on the M25 at Junction 25 is keeping anticlockwise traffic at a standstill back to Junction 22 connecting to St Albans and London Colney.

The Metropolitan Police are on the scene to remove vehicles.

Travellers for Potters Bar, Hatfield and South Mimms will also be affected as the delay passes through Junctions 23 to 24.

Going clockwise, traffic is moving slowly up to Junction 26.

One lane out of three has been closed.

Normal traffic conditions are expected between 5.45pm and 6pm, but in the meantime drivers can expect at least 50 minutes’ delay.
