A SECTION of the M25 has reopened, following an earlier crash which left a young motorcyclist seriously injured.

The westbound carriageway had been closed between junction 24 Potters Bar and junction 23 South Mimms, after a crash between a motorcycle and a van at around 6.30am today (Wednesday).

Ambulance service spokesman Gary Sanderson said: “A man who we believe to be in his 20s received serious injuries and following rapid treatment and stabilisation by paramedics, he was taken to Barnet General Hospital.”

The motorway reopened shortly after 10am.
