Rush-hour drivers are suffering serious delays near Potters Bar this morning because a smash that sent a man to hospital has closed part of the M25 motorway.

A man whose Mitsubishi pick-up truck overturned was taken to Barnet Hospital after a collision involving two other vehicles on the anti-clockwise carriageway near Junction 22 (London Colney).

The accident occurred at 7.43 am, but a section of the motorway remains closed while the vehicles are removed.

According to paramedics, the victim was conscious, and his injuries are not life-threatening.
