Hour-long delays on M25 between Essex and Herts due to accident

Motorists are warned of long delays on the M25 between Potters Bar and Waltham Abbey following a crash.

Emergency services, including police and fire crews, are continuing their work at scene between Junction 25 for Waltham Cross and Junction 26 for Waltham Abbey.

The crash happened on the clockwise carriageway and traffic is building up all the way back to Junction 24 for Potters Bar.

Highways England states: “There are long delays on the M25.

“Two lanes (of four) are closed due to this incident.

“As a result, there are delays of approximately one hour above normal journey times, back to Junction 24.”
