A GARDEN party at MP Grant Shapps’ Brookmans Park home has raised more than �1,300 for charity.
The summer lunch, in aid of The Mixed Group, was hosted by the Shapps family with the MP’s wife Belinda looking after the food and the couple’s three children greeting visitors.
The event for the WGC-based charity, which provides a Christmas Day meal and summer cream tea, for the elderly and lonely in Welwyn Hatfield, also had a host of volunteers helping out.
