A FATALITY on the M25 is causing long delays in both directions this morning (Thursday).
Traffic is backing up for miles on the anti-clockwise carriageway between junction 24 at Potters Bar, and junction 25 at Waltham Cross.
And on the clockwise carriageway, traffic is slow as far back as junction 22 at St Albans.
Junction 25 was closed earlier this morning after a man was killed while trying to walk across the motorway heading anti-clockwise.
Metropolitan police confirmed a man had been killed in an accident at around 6.50am, but no further details have been released.
One lane has since re-opened but long delays are still expected.
