AROUND 175,000 undergraduates across the UK, including some at the University of Hertfordshire, could still be without their student loans this morning.
Technical problems and late applicants have been blamed by the Student Loans Company as the reason for the delay (it's over a week since most uni courses started).
A total of 16 per cent, of the one million students who have applied for support this year, have not received any funding.
The hardest hit have been first years, with only 72 per cent of cases being sorted.
