READERS will get the chance next week to understand what it means to be living under occupation.

At a meeting arranged by the local branch of Amnesty International, Paul Mukerji, who has recently returned from the Palestinian West Bank where he has been serving as a volunteer with the Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and Israel, will give a talk.

Using pictures from his trip he will consider three questions;

1.What is daily life like under occupation?

2. What is the Israeli peace movement doing?

3. What can we do to promote a just peace in Israel-Palestine?.

The meeting is at 8pm on Monday, June 30, in The Backhouse Room, Handside Lane, WGC.
