Midnight the dog, Phoebe the cat and Teresa the bearded dragon are this week’s trio of animals at RSPCA Southridge looking for new homes in the Welwyn Hatfield Times Potters Bar Edition’s Find Me a Home appeal.

• Phoebe is a gorgeous seven-year-old domestic shorthair cat who sadly arrived at the Packhorse Lane centre after a change in her owner’s circumstances.

A Southridge spokeswoman said: “Phoebe is a loving girl, but can be a little bit shy at first.

“However, once she knows you she is very sweet and playful.”

Phoebe would like to go to an adult-only home who will give her time to settle at her own pace.

“She would love to have access to a secure garden for exploring.

“Phoebe is such a lovely girl and will make a great addition to the family,” added the RSPCA spokeswoman.

• Midnight is a beautiful seven-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier who unfortunately finds herself at Southridge due to her owner’s ill health.

“Midnight is a very sweet, affectionate and energetic girl who loves going on long walks and playing ball games,” said the RSPCA Southridge spokeswoman.

“Midnight is looking for an adult only, pet free home with a secure garden and high fencing as she loves to jump!”

She will need to be taken to training and socialisation classes as she is not always confident with all dogs.

“She really is a gem,” added the spokeswoman.

• Teresa is a stunning two-year-old bearded dragon who is looking for a new home with an experienced owner who understands her needs.

She is a very friendly, inquisitive girl who is used to being handled and requires a large vivarium with controlled temperature gradient.

The centre is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 11am to 4.15pm.

It is also open on Sundays from 1pm to 4.15pm.
