A group that campaigns to protect the Green Belt is encouraging residents to participate in the latest Welwyn Hatfield Local Plan examination meetings.
The borough council’s submitted plan is currently being assessed by a planning inspector, and the latest hearings will provide the opportunity to voice concerns.
Campaign to Protect Rural England’s Hertfordshire branch (CPRE) has asked residents to take part by working with a campaign group or parish council that responded during the initial consultation.
The first part of the hearings is on September 21 and 22 at the council’s chamber in The Campus, WGC, and will relate to legal requirements and duty to cooperate.
The scope for part two on Tuesday, October 24, has not yet been announced.
To participate in part one, contact Loouise St John Howe via firstname.lastname@example.org by 5pm on Friday, September 8. Alternatively visit CPRE’s website.
