All lanes on the A1(M) have reopened following a crash in the Hatfield Tunnel this morning.

Herts police were called at 7.22am to reports of a southbound collision involving two cars, a van and a cement mixer between Junction 4 for Hatfield and Junction 3 for St Albans.

Initially two of three lanes were closed so the vehicles could be recovered, but all lanes have now reopened.

A spokeswoman for Herts police said “slight injuries” were reported.
