A man is no longer in a critical condition following a crash involving a £125,000 Lamborgini on the A1(M).

The Londoner, in his twenties, is still suffering from serious injuries but is now said to be in a stable condition.

Police investigations into the crash are ongoing.

Officers were called at about 4pm on Saturday to the southbound carriageway just before Junction 7 for Knebworth and Stevenage following reports that an orange Gallardo had left the road.
