TWO men from Knebworth have been arrested after a car was stolen from a pub car park and set alight.

On Tuesday evening, a yellow Nissan was taken from the car park of the Roebuck Inn in Stevenage and found later that evening abandoned and alight a few roads away.

A 21-year-old and a 22-year-old, both from Knebworth, were arrested on suspicion of theft of a vehicle.

They were later bailed until October.
