A VILLAGE fun day attracted people in their droves at the weekend.
Knebworth Fun Day at the Recreation Ground on Saturday had more than 30 stalls displaying locally crafted goods and homemade products and plants, as well as charity stalls and raffles.
There were fairground attractions, a climbing wall, train rides and a chance for children to have a go at archery.
Children from Knebworth Primary and Nursery School dressed to represent fashion during different historic eras. The Roman and Celts group were judged the winners and received a trophy from Stevenage MP Stephen McPartland, who officially opened the fun day.
Entertainment was provided by members of the North Central Herts School of Dance, followed by choral and string presentations by pupils from Knebworth Primary and Nursery School.
The music stage saw performances from seven local acts - The Informatives, The Remembered, Blighty, Roxy Searle, The State Affair, The Stream, and Meagan and The Marksmen.
Festival organiser Brian Worthington said: “It was a great community event, from organisations selling themselves and raising money, to families just wandering round and enjoying the fun and entertainment.”
