Mather Marshall estate agents in Knebworth raised nearly £150 for Macmillan Cancer Support with a coffee morning and 'Cake Off'.
The estate agents raised £146.50 in the London Road store on Sunday, September 25, with Stevenage MP Stephen McPartland judging the competition.
Sarah Dillingham, of Hatfield, won a £25 John Lewis voucher for her Victoria sponge cake and Rhona Lavis, of Welwyn, came second for her chocolate orange scones and won chocolates and a bottle of wine.
There were also four young baker entries from Kyle Gilbert, Jack Marshall, Morgan Camp and Kelsie Kirton, who all received bags of sweets.
All leftover cake was donated to Monread Lodge Nursing and Residential Home on London Road.
Darren Gilbert, director of the Knebworth branch, said: “I am delighted with the effort and amount of people that took their time to help raise money for a charity that goes beyond the call of duty.
“Macmillan is very close to mine and my wife Megan’s heart and we are both so thankful to everyone’s generosity and time to come and take part in our coffee morning and cake off event.
“Thank you to everyone that took part or come along to support, we look forward to organising more events in the local community.”
