THE talk of a Tory clean sweep is filtering around the count and one family are hoping for their very own whitewash.

Doug, Clare and Hannah Berry are hoping all three will continue on as councillors.

Last year Doug missed out, failing to secure a family dynasty on the Tory-run council.

But the dad of the family was given a reprieve following the resignation of councillor Peter O'Brien.

Hannah, 19, told the WHT live at Campus West: "I had to go to college this morning, some people have been at it since six.

"I'm quietly confident."

Mum Clare added: "I'm positive about tonight's result, it's just a matter of sitting and waiting.

"We're keeping our fingers crossed, but regarding the family we'll have to see later.
