'Keep things locked up' warning after burglaries in Hatfield and Potters Bar
RESIDENTS are being warned to keep homes and belongings secure after several burglaries. Between 3.30am and 4.30am on Friday, a laptop, cash and jewellery were stolen from a house in Kemble Close, Potters Bar. The offender gained access via a secure gate
RESIDENTS are being warned to keep homes and belongings secure after several burglaries.
Between 3.30am and 4.30am on Friday, a laptop, cash and jewellery were stolen from a house in Kemble Close, Potters Bar.
The offender gained access via a secure gate and an unlocked small window.
That afternoon, a wallet was stolen from a home in Little Berkhamsted Lane, Essendon, after the garage door was left open.

At around midnight that same evening, two computers and a sum of money were stolen from a house in Stockbreach Close, Hatfield, after a window was left unlocked.
A man has since been arrested.

Sergeant Nat Landau said: "With the warmer weather, residents are opening their windows and doors - but don't forget simple crime prevention advice when you go out.
