THE jury deciding the fate of a man accused of GBH has been discharged after failing to reach a verdict.
Hatfield man Dejan Tomsic, 31, punched Bhavesh Patel outside the Town Inn in March last year.
Mr Patel, from WGC, was left permanently brain damaged after the attack.
The case is reported in today's (Wednesday) Welwyn & Hatfield Times.

It states the prosecution believes Tomsic made up a story claiming self-defence.
The jury of seven women and five men, deliberated for over seven-and-a-half hours, before being discharged by Judge Stephen Warner.

Tomsic, of St Lukes Court, Hatfield, denies the charge and will face a re-trial later this year.
