Jogger suffers head injuries after motorbike smash

POLICE want to speak to anyone who may have seen a road accident which left a woman with head and facial injuries.

At around 8.45am on Thursday, August 2, a 45-year-old female jogger collided with a white 600cc Yamaha motorbike which was going along The Ridgeway, Potters Bar.

The crash, which happened close to St John’s Preparatory School, left the bike rider with slight injuries while the woman was taken to Chase Farm hospital in Enfield.

Pc Bruce Lister, from the Beds and Herts Road Policing Unit, said: “I would like to speak to anyone who saw this incident or who saw either party before the incident took place.

“If you have any information about it and haven’t spoken to police yet, please get in touch with police as soon as possible.”
