A SPECIALIST drinks retailer based in WGC is set to slash a quarter of its workforce.
Of the 340 people who work at First Quench Retailing's HQ in Bessemer Road, a total of 78 are facing redundancy.
A spokeswoman for the company, which owns Threshers, Wine Rack and The Local, said the group was "entering a consultation process" with its head office staff.
She added: "This process may lead to around 60 head office and 18 field management [regional or district managers] positions being made redundant.
