THE Jill Dando Award for public bravery is set to be handed to a WGC worker tonight (Thursday).
Heroic John Farley rescued two police officers from a burning car after a head-on crash in which a teenage driver died.
Without thought for his own life the dad-of-two dragged the injured policemen out of the car and carried them to safety.
The Argos lorry driver is set to be a special guest at the Police Bravery Awards in London.
He is expected to be honoured with the Jill Dando Award for the most courageous civilian.
It comes just a week after he received a gold medal at the Association of Chief Police Officers Public Bravery Awards.
