BURGLARS left a woman devastated after they stole jewellery of sentimental value in a daylight raid on her WGC home.
The crooks swiped a heart-shaped pendant, a Durga pendant, necklaces, earrings and bracelets after forcing open the front door of the property in Howlands.
The burglary took place between 9.15am and 5.15pm last Wednesday.
Detective Constable Mark Cotte, investigating, said: “The jewellery is of great sentimental value and we will do everything we can to reunite the victim with it. Did you see anyone acting suspiciously in Howlands or streets nearby on Wednesday? Did you see any cars attracting your attention? Have you been offered any jewellery for sale?”
