A palliative care provider in Welwyn Garden City is in need of nursing support assistants and has invited interested candidates to visit.

Isabel Hospice is looking for full and part-time assistants to work at their Howlands in-patient unit, where an open day will be held on Monday, January 21, for those interested.

Last year, the unit cared for 153 people in a mix of private ensuite rooms and two small bays.

Between 10am to 2pm, there will be an opportunity to speak to staff, have a look around the unit and ask any questions that potential candidates may have about the role. There will also be application forms to complete on the day or take home.

The hospice’s in-patient unit has eight beds and there is a high ratio of staff to patients, giving time to care.

If you are unable to attend the open day but would still like to visit prior to making an application, contact HR advisor Jane Slater on 01707 382584 to arrange a time.

Visit www.isabelhospice.org.uk/jobs for full details about the role.
