A scooter that was stolen from Welwyn Garden has been found and police are appealing for its owner to come forward.
Between 2.04am and 2.10am on Tuesday, January 17, a scooter (pictured) was stolen from the rear of a property in Eddington Crescent.
It was later recovered nearby in Chequersfield.
PC Abi Wilkins, who is investigating, said: “I am appealing for anyone who saw the scooter being ridden in the local area between the times stated to get in touch.
“I’d also like to hear from anyone who believes they know who is responsible for this theft.”
