APPLE fans in WGC have been queuing all night to be the first to get their hands on the company’s latest must have – the iPhone 4S.

The new phone – which boasts a better camera, improved graphics and has resolved its predecessors internal ariel problems – was launched today (Friday), amid a wave of excitement and anticipation.

Large crowds are forming outside phone stores O2 and Carphone Warehouse in the Howard Centre, with some devotees getting to the shopping centre as early as 3am.

An O2 worker told the Welwyn Hatfield Times: “It’s going very well.

“We had our first people queuing from three in the morning. By the time we opened at 8am, there was about 50 people, and the queue is growing.

“It’s going to be a busy day.”
