PERFORMED by violinist Cordula Merks, the Hertford Symphony Orchestra presents its May concert this Sunday.
Internationally known as a soloist, recitalist, and chamber musician, Ms Merks takes part in the concert, featuring Brahms' Violin Concerto in D, in the Drill Hall, in Ware.
The concert, at 7.45pm, is conducted by Gerry Cornelius.
Guests can also enjoy Bartok's concerto for orchestra, which showcases each section of the orchestra in turn, and two miniatures by Stravinsky, the Greeting Prelude and Canon on a Russian popular song.
