A man was seen indecently exposing himself in Welwyn Garden City yesterday.

He is described as white, in his 40s, around 5ft 6in tall and stocky.

He was seen indecently exposing himself by a member of the public on Herns Lane at around 2pm, before he ran off towards Morrisons.

He had an untidy brown beard and was wearing a blue jacket, blue jogging bottoms with stripes down the side, stripy trainers and a blue baseball cap with a hood over the top.

Sgt David Stansbury said: “This incident happened during the day in a busy area for both footfall and traffic, so there is every chance this man was seen by a number of people.

“Therefore we are keen to speak to anyone who saw a man matching the description in the area around the time stated.”

Anyone with any information has been asked to ring 101, quoting reference number 384 of September 29,
