DISRUPTION was caused to hundreds of people after they were left without power last night (Monday).
A total of 1,548 residents in WGC were affected by the power cut at around 11.30pm.
EDF Energy Networks said the interruptions were due to a "fault developing on a high voltage underground cable".
A spokeswoman added: "Engineers restored power in stages, with all supplies restored by 12.30am today (Tuesday).
