TRAFFIC is backing up along the M25 this morning (Thursday) following a three car collision.

The accident happened at just after 6.30am on the clockwise carriageway between junction 24 for Potters Bar and junction 25 for Enfield.

A Vauxhall Vectra, an Audi A6 and a London taxi were all involved in the collision.

There are no reports of injuries, but a Met Police spokesman said one carriageway is currently closed while the vehicles are recovered with tailbacks of around five miles.

The Highways Agency has said it hopes to get the road fully reopened by 11.30am.
