On Friday November 30 and Saturday December 1, Howard Centre shoppers can chance their hand at winning bumper raffle prizes in aid of HAD.

Over the two days, HAD will hold a special awareness event alongside the raffle in association with their long-term partner, Stevenage’s Specialist Cars.

The raffle prizes include a 40-inch TV, a Christmas hamper, and a test drive of a Mini Countryman.

The car itself will be parked filled with balloons in the shopping centre’s main atrium, where shoppers can have a go at guessing the number of balloons.

HAD is a charity enabling older and disabled people to lead an independent life.

The charity is celebrating 60 years this year, and have a goal of raising £60,000 to celebrate and continue their activities across Hertfordshire.

Their equipment centre provides a range of mobility products and advice, while their driving centre provides adaptation and driving ability assessments, and scooter assessments.

For more information on HAD visit www.hadnet.org.uk or call 01707 324581.
