A HIGH speed pursuit is currently taking place through Times Territory.
Police are chasing a black Ford Focus through Potters Bar, Brookmans Park and Welham Green.
A police spokeswoman said the vehicle sped off when officers attempted to pull the car over.
One eyewitness in Potters Bar High Street said he saw the car race through the town at “manic speeds”, while being pursued by three police cars.
“[The driver] was going like a maniac,” the eyewitness said. “It was flashing everybody out of the way – I’m surprised nobody was smashed to bits.”
The Ford Focus was last seen in the Welham Green area. Police are still in pursuit.
