Hertsmere's 'Nappy switch' cash scheme
A CASH incentive is being offered to parents across Hertsmere who switch from disposable to cloth nappies. Mums and dads who choose to re-use with 'real' nappies can claim up to �40 cashback from Hertsmere Borough Council.
A CASH incentive is being offered to parents across Hertsmere who switch from disposable to cloth nappies.
Mums and dads who choose to re-use with 'real' nappies can claim up to �40 cashback from Hertsmere Borough Council.
A council spokeswoman said: "On average a baby from birth to potty can use 4,000 to 6,000 disposable nappies.
"This is not only costly to the parent, but also to the environment."
