The election nominations are in for Hertsmere, with four candidates trying to win the Parliamentary seat being vacated by Tory James Clappison.
Details of the candidates nominated for the General Election in May were published yesterday (Thursday).
Standing in the Hertsmere constituency, which includes Potters Bar, are Sophie Bowler (Liberal Democrat), Richard Butler (Labour), Oliver Dowden (Conservative) and Frank Ward (UKIP).
As well as the Parliamentary election on Thursday, May 7, 39 Hertsmere councillors will be elected for the borough council.
Elections will also take place for Elstree & Borehamwood Town Council and Aldenham, Shenley and South Mimms parish councils.
Ridge Parish Council is uncontested.
The deadline for registering to vote is Monday, April 20.
