“IT would take a brave man to say anything about how it will go tonight.”
That was Hertsmere Conservative parliamentary candidate James Clappison’s reaction on the possibility of him winning his seat for the fifth consecutive time this evening.
The 53-year-old, who has been out and about across Hertsmere today thanking party members for their “hard work”, remained tight lipped on the prospects, but said he was “grateful for everyone’s hard work”.
