The Flight For Life Lottery Team at Herts Air Ambulance is calling on all supporters to sign up now and be in with a chance of winning up to 25,000!
Starting this week, Herts Air Ambulance is employing canvassers to go door to door to promote the Flight for Life Lottery and gain new members.
The areas that will be targeted first are; Welwyn Garden City, Harpendon and St. Albans.
The charity would like to emphasise that canvassers will only be asking people to sign up by direct debit and will not be asking for cash upfront.
All canvassers will be in Herts Air Ambulance branded clothing and will be carrying ID badges. Anyone that gets a visit from a canvasser is reminded to ask for ID and if still not sure to call the lottery team on 0845 2417 688 for clarification.
Janice Flower, lottery manager, Essex and Herts Air Ambulance Trust said, "The Flight for Life Lottery is one of the easiest ways for the people of Hertfordshire to support their Air Ambulance and help keep the life-saving helicopter flying. Not only could our supporters be in with a chance of winning a life changing sum of money, but by raising vital funds for the Air Ambulance they could help save lives too!"
