POLICE in Hertfordshire are on the hunt for community safety champions to be nominated for a Safer Neighbourhood Awards 2011.
The annual award scheme recognises the “exceptional people” who help make the county a safe place to live.
Police authority chairman Stuart Nagler said: “All too often we hear bad news stories and all the good work done by the public and our officers can go unnoticed.”
