BREWER McMullens has a new beer to celebrate the birth of the royal baby.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s son is celebrated by the Hertfordshire firm with their new tipple ‘Heir Raiser’.
The pump label for the beer features a stork carrying a basket with a crown visible over the top.
And the company’s production and sales director Fergus McMullen says the light, hoppy treat is a fitting tribute to the child, who will one day be the King of England.
Mr McMullen told the WHT: “We’ve got a product that is absolutely flying out now, it is called Heir Raiser.
“It is a bit of a joke which we think is very clever.
“It’s a four per cent very light refreshing bitter.”
And he said regulars at the firm’s Duchess of Cambridge pub, opposite Windsor Castle, had been “hoovering up” the ale to “wet the baby’s head with a decent pint”.
