HERTBEAT FM’s studios in Old Knebworth have looked more like a toy store in the run up to Christmas.
For the radio station was overwhelmed with presents donated as part of its annual Christmas toy appeal.
Listeners had been asked to buy and wrap up gifts for youngsters who may not necessarily be as privileged to receive much this Christmas.
Collection points were dotted around the area, including at the Galleria in Hatfield and Welwyn Carpet Mills in WGC town centre.
DJ Steve Folland said: “We received hundreds of presents – the photo doesn’t cover half of them!
“The gifts are now being distributed to less fortunate children in the area, via local charities and refuges.”
