THIS is Nigel - a Staffordshire bull terrier in desperate need of a new home and family.
Since he was taken to the RSPCA Southridge Animal Centre in April, Nigel has had no luck in being adopted.
Staff at the South Mimms animal care home are asking anyone who is looking to adopt a new dog as a pet to go and meet Nigel.
A spokesman for the Packhorse Lane centre told the Welwyn & Hatfield Times said: "Nigel is a lovely, affectionate chap: if you like dog training and big bouncy dogs then he could be the one for you."
Nigel is best suited to an adult home without any other animals.
He needs someone at home most of the day and ideally his new owner should take him to training classes.
