TAKEN to an animal care home because his owner could no longer look after him, Felix is desperately seeking a new home.

The feline animal, along with another cat which has since passed away, arrived at RSPCA Southridge Animal Centre, in South Mimms, in December.

As a result of losing his home and his friend, Felix is now "very lonely".

The shy but affectionate cat is around eight-years-old.

A spokesman for the Packhorse Lane centre said: "Felix could live with older, sensible children and it would be nice if he could live with another cat, as he may miss the companionship he had before.

"He would benefit from a quiet home."

If you would like to help Felix settle into a new caring environment, pop along to the care home and meet him for yourself.

It is open every day except Wednesdays from 11am until 4.15pm.

Call the centre on 0300 123 0704 for more information.
