AN arresting evening lies in store for fans of death metal when Aortic Dissection come to Hertfordshire for two dates this month.
Formed in Luton in 2007, the five-piece are Jake Bolland (vocals), Tim Wagstaff (guitar), Sam Turner (guitar), Rob Abbott (bass) and Dom Power (drums).
The band list Lamb of God, The Black Dahlia Murder and Necrophagist among their influences.
Aortic Dissection will be playing at The Hertford Marquee on Friday, before headlining at Club 85, in Hitchin, on Friday, February 20.
Tickets for the Hertford show, which starts at 8pm, cost from �2 to �4.
At the Hitchin gig, support comes in the form of Silent Screams, We Stare At Mirrors, Black Polaris and The Rise of Sirin.
The music starts at 7.45pm and is set to finish at 11.45pm.
Tickets cost �6 on the door.
