Hearing set for Potters Bar off-licence's 24-hour booze bid

A PUBLIC hearing will be held to determine whether an off-licence can sell alcohol around the clock. Borough councillors will convene next month, to decide an application from the licensee of Bargain Wine, in The Broadway, Potters Bar. Huseyin Yildirim
A PUBLIC hearing will be held to determine whether an off-licence can sell alcohol around the clock.
Borough councillors will convene next month, to decide an application from the licensee of Bargain Wine, in The Broadway, Potters Bar.
Huseyin Yildirim has asked for permission to flog booze 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
He also wants to change the name of his store to Firtina.

The hearing will take place at the Civic Offices in Borehamwood on Thursday, September 24.
It starts at 10am.
