A Herts charity is celebrating its 25th anniversary this summer with an organised bike ride.
The Herts Health Ride takes place on Sunday, July 11, on the Woodhall Estate between Hertford and Stevenage, raising funds for four local hospitals: Hertford County, the Lister in Stevenage, the New QEII in Welwyn Garden City and the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre in Northwood.
There are three routes to choose from, as well as a child-friendly track, and upon completion all riders will receive an NHS medal.
Beth McNeil, head of East and North Hertfordshire Hospitals' Charity, encouraged people to join the charity in celebrating “25 years of helping our wonderful NHS go above and beyond in the care they provide to our community,” hailing it as an opportunity “to give back to the hospital teams who have worked so hard during the COVID-19 pandemic.”
